where, why, when and how much
What is a Mini Session?
We all know that a typical portrait session could take as long as 1 – 1.5 hours – Unlike a full portrait session, that we offer any other time of the year, these sessions are short and sweet, 15- 20 minutes at most to get all the nerves out, and all the smiles and if we are lucky some giggles too.
There is NO man in red, that can freak the little ones out, (that is what the shopping malls are for!) .
We encourage everyone to come dressed ready to go, we have a few different props that we can grab little ones attention with, but if you have a special toy or teddy, that your little one loves – please bring them along.
We have packages to suit everyone’s budgets this Christmas
We have the basic package which is PRINTS only $175, 1 of 8″ x 10″ & 3 of 5″ x 7″ as this is the basic package – this is the minimum spend for these mini sessions.
Want to do all your own printing? Digital packages begin, at $199, (includes 3 high resolution files, of your choice, with unlimited printing)
All images can be purchased for $599, including a full set of proofs, and your images supplied on USB – Ready to Print. (FULL DISCLOSURE : you can safely expect 10-15 images from your session)
What do we wear for our Christmas mini sessions?
We would encourage the plainer and simpler the better, we can spend more time looking at faces, and expressions, rather than mismatched outfits – HOWEVER, if you have the classic ugly Christmas “Sweaters’ than PLEASE feel free to bring them in! Similarly, the Christmas themed matching family themed pyjama’s always look AMAZING. We do have some Christmas headbands, and some Santa hats etc, which you are more than welcome to use also.
Where are these sessions taken?
These sessions are at our Fyshwick studio, and will go ahead – come rain or shine! You may arrive a few minutes ahead of your session to settle the kiddies, and these sessions are notoriously loud and bright and fun sessions.
We have children with special needs, and may require a little assistance with our session
PLEASE give us a heads up if you have any sensory issues or concerns, and we will go out of our way to ensure that we ‘tone it down’ for your session, and make sure this is a beautiful and relaxed session.
